Shipping & returns

How long will it take to get my order?

All internet orders are filled as quickly as possible. Orders placed during weekends and holidays are received on the next business day. Once your order is processed we will aim to dispatch within 48 hours. All orders are subject to Australia Post delivery services to your area. Orders being sent to regional Australia, WA, SA and non-metropolitan USA addresses may take up to 5 to 7 business days. Approximately 48 hours after your order has been placed you will receive tracking information which will allow you to track your parcel. The expected delivery times set are estimates only. 

Please keep in mind that once your order has been dispatched Edible Beauty Australia is not responsible for any losses or damages. It is the customer's responsibility to follow the tracking information provided and contact the courier/delivery company to ensure the safe and timely delivery of your purchase. We will assist you in recovering an item to the best of our abilities, however, will not provide a replacement or refund.

Please note due to COVID-19 There may be a delay with Australia Post or DHL (our US shipping provider). We ask for your patience at this time.

What is the cost of shipping? 

All orders over $50 will receive FREE shipping Australia wide. 

All NZ orders over $100 NZD will receive FREE shipping. 

All US orders of U$100+ will receive FREE shipping. 

For orders all other orders the shipping costs are per the below: 

Australia (General) - $9.50
Australia (Express) - $15.00 
New Zealand (General) - $18
United States of America - $20.00 USD

Please note due to an increase in international shipping fares, for all US orders under U$100 the cost of shipping is now U$20.00. All US orders of U$100+ receive free shipping

Will my personal information be kept private?

Yes. At Edible Beauty Australia, we respect your right to privacy. Therefore the information collected on this website will follow the strict privacy guidelines of The Beauty Apothecary t/a Edible Beauty Australia. We will never sell your information to a third party.

What is your return policy?

Returns Policy

At Edible Beauty Australia we want to make your online shopping experience as seamless as possible. Our returns policy is outlined below.

Change of mind

We are happy to provide a store credit, refund or an exchange on any items that are unused, unopened and returned in the same condition as they were bought within 30 days of purchase. Please note we do not refund delivery costs. We are happy to exchange products and can cover the shipping cost for your replacements.

  • All returns must be received within 30 days.
  • All items must be unused and product packaging must also be received intact with no tears or blemishes. 
  • We strongly advise returning your order with tracking as we can't be responsible for items that go missing before they reach us.
  • Credits and returns will be processed within 7 days of receipt.
  • We do not refund delivery costs.
  • Exchanges and credit notes are available.

Damaged or incorrect items

If your item is damaged or faulty or you believe the product is incorrect, please contact admin@ediblebeautyaustralia.com with a detailed description, and any photos you can provide as soon as possible.

Sensitivities 

We cannot accept returns or process a refund for a product you use that you have sensitivities to or are allergic to. We put the full list of ingredients on our website so please look at these carefully. We are very happy to answer any questions about our products if you need advice – please feel free to contact us via Live Chat or email.

Can I order products outside of Australia?

We are currently shipping to the USA and New Zealand. However, we are working on shipping our products globally so watch this space!

Packaging

Why is your packaging so special?

Our skincare is primarily packaged in 100% recyclable dark violet MIRON glass bottles, made in Switzerland. MIRON glass blocks the complete spectrum of visible light (aside from non-threatening violet light), which would otherwise accelerate molecular decay among preservative-free and toxin-free ingredients. This luxury glass also protects the energy of the products and adds to the vitality of the ingredients contained within. The glass is shatter resistant and provides the ideal cool, dark storage environment for natural products. Interestingly, while the violet glass is relatively new to the beauty market, it has been used since ancient times. Records show that it was used in ancient Egypt to store valuable essences and remedies.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our glass bottles are 100% recyclable and the rest of our packaging is too- even the protective material within your delivery box! While it may look similar to Styrofoam, we use BioFill environmentally friendly alternative. Bio-Fill is made from 100% natural starch making it compostable- simply apply water to break down. 

Am I able to send back my glass bottles to you to be refilled?

All of our glass bottles are recyclable and our black rice paper tea refill bags are biodegradable. We are working on finding a way to provide refills to customers in a sustainable way, unfortunately, we haven’t been able to find a resource efficient way to transport bottles back to us and efficiently sterilise and refill the bottles. We have a few ideas on upcycling here.

Loyalty Program

How do I create a loyalty account?

To earn points on your purchases and receive loyalty discounts and promotions, just register for an account here

How do I earn points? 

Points can be earned by making a purchase, signing up to our mailing list, leaving a review or liking us on Instagram or Facebook.

How do I redeem my loyalty points?

Login to your rewards account and click through to the brown box showing your rewards points balance. Scroll down to see whether you have enough points to redeem a $5, $20, or $50 reward. You will be provided with a coupon code that can be used at the checkout. Points that remain after you redeem this voucher can be used towards your next voucher redemption.

What are the points worth?

650 points gets you a $5 voucher, 1000 points a $10 voucher and 1800 gets you $20. 5000 points earns a $50 voucher with a $75 minimum spend. 

Do points expire?

You have 6 months to use your points before they expire. If you are not able to use them in 6 months please let us know and we can reinstate them!

 

Can points be used with another discount code?

Unfortunately your loyalty points cannot be used with any other promotional or discount code.

How much does it cost to join?

Joining our loyalty program is free and you don't even need to make a purchase! You can start earning points by following us on social media and also subscribing to our newsletter.

How is my tier determined?

As you earn more points you will move up our Beauty Reward tiers. If you have below 3500 points you will be an Edible Belle, if you are sitting at over 3500 points but below 5000 points you will be an Edible Enchantress. If you have over 5000 points you will qualify as an Edible Goddess.

Whats happens when I return items or cancel my order?

Upon the return of an order, you will lose any points associated with your purchase.

How do I get points form writing a review?

Make sure you are logged into your loyalty account. Head to the product you would like to review on and points will be added to your loyalty balance automatically. There may be a 1-2 day lag for the points to appear.

How do I get points for following on social media?

Simply login to your Edible Beauty account. Go to the Beauty Rewards dashboard. Select the tab that says Earn Points. Click on the social media channels you would like to follow and follow the prompts to login to that platform and follow us.

 

Subscriptions 

What are subscriptions?

Edible Beauty subscriptions are the easiest way to ensure you never run out of your must-have products! We automatically send the products you subscribe to, at your chosen delivery frequency. You will receive 15% off and free shipping on all recurring orders.

You can change, skip and cancel your subscription at any time, via your subscription account. To access your account and edit your subscriptions, head to the log in page here.

 

How do I subscribe to my favourite products?

To subscribe to your favourite products, simply select the “subscribe” option on the product page, located above the “add to cart” button. You will then be prompted to choose the frequency at which you would like your recurring orders to be delivered. You can choose between every 2, 3 or 4 months.  Add the product to your cart, continue shopping and checkout as normal once you are ready.

  

How do I manage my subscriptions?

Click on the person icon, and log in to your customer account (or create an edible beauty customer account if you do not have one). Once you are logged in, on the accounts page you will see a “manage subscriptions” button. Click on this button and you will be taken to Appstle, where you can pause, cancel or change your subscriptions. Can I earn Loyalty Reward points on my subscription orders?

Loyalty points are earned on every subscription order. To make sure that you earn points ensure you are a member of our Beauty Rewards program here. We recommend using your Beauty Rewards to trial any products that you may not wish to subscribe to or for any gifts or bundle purchases!

 

Can I use my Loyalty points on subscription orders?

At this time, unfortunately loyalty points are not able to be used on your subscription orders. However, you will receive 15% off and free shipping on all recurring orders.

We recommend saving up your loyalty points and using them when you try a new product or wish to purchase products you are not subscribed to.

 

Product information

Are you certified organic?

Our products are made with certified organic ingredients along with wildcrafted ingredients. Wildcrafted ingredients are found growing in arid and regions of Australia in their natural habitat. This means that they cannot be certified organic as they are not grown in a controlled environment. From a purity standpoint, however, we consider wildcrafted botanicals to be even more therapeutic than organic ingredients as they grow in an untouched and pristine environment. Ingredients which are organic are noted in the ingredients list of each product with an asterisk. Our teas are made with 90% certified organic ingredients.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Our products naturally last two years without being opened. Once opened the products will last for approximately 12 months although we recommend using them within six months. That’s what the little open jar symbol on the packaging means.

Are your products tested on animals?

We completely believe in the ethical treatment of all animals. Including humans. None of our ingredients or products are tested on animals.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, our entire product line is vegan. We are certified PETA vegan and cruelty free.

Are your products suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

Our entire skincare line was originally formulated by our founder Anna Mitsios, specifically for pregnant women and women wishing to conceive hence every skincare product is safe for pregnant women. Our Native Collagen Powder is also safe for pregnant women. Our tea line has been created using traditional herbs, many of which have not been tested on pregnant women. For this reason, we recommend that you consult your medical practitioner for specific advice regarding which teas are appropriate for you. All of our teas and skincare are suitable for breastfeeding women.

Are your products palm-oil free?

Whilst we are currently not using any palm oil in our products, our olive-oil based emulsifier may occasionally contain sustainable palm oil as derivative. We are in the process of transitioning away from this supplier to reformulate products with an alternative palm oil free emulsifier.  Products which are 100% palm-oil free include:

The texture of my No.3 Exotic Goddess Ageless Serum has changed. Is this normal?

Yes, this is a product that can vary with every batch. This is specifically a result of the interaction between the Hyaluronic Acid and the Australian native ingredients rich in vitamin C that is within the product. The serum may vary from cloudy to clear in colour, however, the therapeutic efficacy of the product is the same. 

The scent and colour of my product seems to vary from the last product I purchased?

This is normal and is a reflection of the natural ingredients we use. We batch make all of our natural skincare and use pure Australian wildcrafted extracts that may differ in colour and texture based on season and region they are harvested from. As a result, this product may vary in colour, texture and fragrance from batch to batch. This does not impact the efficacy of the product and each contains the same amount of active ingredients.

Do your products contain Parabens or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate?

No. All of our products are entirely free of all Parabens, Alcohol, Phthalates, Preservatives and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.
